Clear space equals the height of the seed’s split, about 0.35× the symbol height, on all sides.
Seed drops in, seam splits at 0.4 s, leaf unfurls at 0.7 s, vein draws at 1.3 s, wordmark fades up at 1.7 s. Reduced motion shows the final frame.
Every token in theme.ts with its light and dark value. Gain and loss are never shown by colour alone: always ▲/▼ or +/−.

Nine species rendered through plantSpec(). Drag the sliders: plants droop (a shape change) and dry (a colour change) when a holding is down, so loss is never colour alone. Every plant is always leafy and coloured: the thirstiest one is tan, never grey or dead.
Each species at 16, 24 and 32 px (the holdings-row icon), then healthy against the worst case the mapping allows: height 40 and 220, fully dry and drooping 18°.
