Risk Disclosure Document

Mandatory statutory risk disclosures on equity trading, mutual funds, and technology risks.

1. Market price volatility risk

Investments in equities and mutual funds are subject to market risks, including the possible loss of principal invested. Prices can fluctuate sharply due to macroeconomic events, industry headwinds, and general market sentiment.

2. Liquidity risk

Certain smaller capitalization securities or corporate bonds may suffer from lower trading liquidity, making it difficult to execute buy or sell orders at desired limit prices.

3. Price bands and circuit filters

Exchange circuit filters limit daily price movements (e.g., 5%, 10%, 20%). During severe volatility, trading in a stock may be halted, preventing order fills until bands are revised.

4. Mutual fund scheme risks

Mutual fund investments are not guaranteed deposits. Different categories carry distinct risk levels as indicated on the SEBI 6-tier Riskometer (Low to Very High). Read all scheme-related offer documents carefully before committing capital.

5. No guaranteed returns

Seedvest does not guarantee any minimum returns, dividends, or capital protection. Historical returns and CAGR figures are strictly illustrative and cannot be relied upon as future forecasts.

6. Technology and operational risk

Online trading relies on electronic communications, internet service providers, and local device state. Latency spikes, browser disconnects, or power disruptions may affect order placement timing.
